Our Family
Herman and Minerva Teichert, moved to Cokeville, Wyoming in 1927 after their homestead on the Snake River Bottoms was dammed to create the American Falls Reservoir. Herman and Minerva purchased a cattle ranch along the Oregon trail. Along with the ranch came a house that had indoor plumbing, electricity, and a school close by. Herman K. Teichert, was the oldest son and loved to work on the ranch. In 1942, Herman married Buhla Ida Brady and together they had 10 children, 6 boys and 4 girls. Ron Herman was number 6 of 10 and worked right alongside his family on the ranch. After college he came back to the ranch and spent years working with his dad before taking over the operation. In 1989, he married Vonda Lou Skousen and they have 6 kids and currently 8 grandkids. We are so grateful for the legacy and lessons that have been passed down to us.
